This is a Federal Council Assessment Report in fulfilment of Postulate 14.3740 submitted by Jean Christophe Schwaab, 17 September 2014. This report shows that two-year VET programmes for the Federal VET Certificate allow young people who are more hands-on in their orientation to obtain an initial vocational qualification and gain access to the more challenging three- or four-year VET programmes for the Federal VET Diploma as well as to continuing education and training.
