Comité Suisse pour l’Évaluation du FCC (CSEF)

The Comité Suisse pour l’Évaluation du FCC (CSEF) is a committee tasked with evaluating the feasibility study for CERN's possible next project, the Future Circular Collider FCC

Mandate

CSEF is to evaluate the Final Report of the FCC Feasibility Study and report to the Swiss Delegation to the CERN Council. CSEF is under the aegis of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) and is commissioned by the State Secretary since 2024. The committee is chaired by the head of the Swiss Delegation to the CERN Council, Ambassador Michael Gerber.

The CSEF brings together all the federal offices involved in the topic, the Canton of Geneva and the relevant scientific institutions.
