Support for young researchers

Support for young researchers is a priority focus of federal support in the area of education, research and innovation for 2017-2020. In this framework, the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) provides support to selected stakeholders that help young people in Switzerland to compete in scientific fields against the world’s best and brightest.

Support for young researchers across national borders covers the following target groups, support activities, organisations and institutions:
