Swiss VET programmes depend on the willingness of companies to offer apprenticeship training to young people. This willingness is determined by the benefits that companies gain from apprenticeship training. The present study was commissioned by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) in order to gain a current assessment of the costs and benefits of apprenticeship training and the influencing factors.
