For non-regulated professions, SERI recognises foreign professional qualifications from the EU/EFTA by virtue of Art. 69 ff. of the Vocational and Professional Education and Training Ordinance (VPETO) if the following conditions are met:
- same level of training;
- same duration of training;
- comparable training content;
- the foreign training programme (and corresponding lower-level training) covers both theoretical and practical aspects or relevant work experience is involved.
