  • Be friendly and stick to the topic.
  • Have a lively but respectful discussion.
  • Respect the opinion of others.
  • Feel free to notify us of any shortcomings.

All users have the right to express their opinions in the comment columns on our social media channels. However, comments may be removed if they:

  • incite offences, crimes, hatred or violence;
  • contain content that is offensive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or pornographic, or depicts violence;
  • put a person’s health or personal safety at risk;
  • include commercial advertising;
  • are obviously machine-generated (spam);
  • are unrelated to the topic under discussion and have been posted multiple times;
  • are obviously false, have been posted multiple times and serve to misinform;
  • are not written in an official Swiss language, Swiss German or English.

Comments that are suspected of constituting an official offence, e.g., discriminatory comments based on race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation, or comments that incite hatred or violence, may in addition be reported to the police.

Comments may be automatically checked and removed temporarily if we receive an exceptionally high number of postings.

We reserve the right to block users on the respective social media platform for a maximum period of two years if their comments pose a particularly serious violation of the rules or if they post comments multiple times that fall under any of the above-mentioned criteria.

For questions about managing comments or blocking a user please write to:
