This report presents the results of a study conducted by the BASS consulting firm commissioned under the sub-programme Equal Opportunities for Women and Men at Universities SUK P-4.
The background publication contains statistical indicators on the extent of equal opportunity for women and men at Swiss universities. It shows how strongly women and men are represented at individual stages of their studies and careers as well as in different areas of specialisation. The description ranges from securing university entrance qualifications to professorships. The results are presented separately for all three types of higher education institutions in Switzerland: tier-one universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education.
