This report was drafted as part of the regular reporting process mandated by the Swiss Parliament on Swiss participation in EU research framework programmes. This report provides an interim update on Swiss participation in the EU’s Eighth Research Framework Programme (Horizon 2020) since 2014 and corresponding projects. For the first time, the report paints a complete picture of Swiss participation in Horizon 2020 during the period of partial association (2014 to 2016) and describes the outcome of full association since 1 January 2017.
