This report is based on a survey conducted by ETH Zurich KOF on the innovation activities of the Swiss private sector from 2014 to 2016. This survey has been conducted eleven times since it was first launched in 1998. It is the only survey providing information about the innovation activities of Swiss-based companies since the mid-1990s.
