This study was conducted by Prof. Dr. Uschi Backes-Gellner and Dr. Curdin Pfister, University of Zurich. The study findings were included in the report entitled ‘Research and Innovation in Switzerland 2020’.
The Swiss VPET system contributes greatly to innovation in companies and reinforces the innovation capacities of the economy as a whole. It also ensures that workers possess the professional competences needed for innovation and offers individuals a wide range of options for subsequent education and training.
