Switzerland is a founding member of COST. The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is responsible for scientific, financial and administrative management of COST activities in Switzerland.
How does one take part in a COST Action? How does one launch a COST Action?
The European COST server provides information concerning all COST Actions (including completed ones) along with links to the websites of other Actions.
If a Swiss researcher wishes to create a European network, he/she may submit a proposal for a new Action to the COST Office. This proposal must involve partner institutions from at least 6 COST member countries. Each year, COST issues two open calls for COST Action proposals. The dates for open calls are published on the website of COST international, where it is also possible to watch a video explaining the submission, evaluation and approval procedure of new COST Action proposals.
