Abstract
This project aims to establish a comprehensive roadmap for a test lab for automated vehicles (AV) in Switzerland. The approach involves several key steps: - Identification of Use Cases: The project will begin by defining probable use cases for the test center, such as Switzerland-specific requirements, trial projects, periodic testing, AV accident forensics, and imported vehicles. These use cases will be refined based on findings from previous projects - Investigation of International Regulations: The project team will analyze existing regulations and standards for AV testing in Europe and Switzerland. This includes gathering technical information from OEMs and stakeholders to ensure alignment with industry standards. - Development of Test Scenarios: Relevant test scenarios will be developed based on international standards and previous research. These scenarios will focus on the identified use cases and ensure comprehensive testing of AV capabilities. - Derivation of Technical Requirements: The project will define technical and methodological requirements for the test center, covering all aspects of AV development and production, including functional safety, cybersecurity, AI, and data governance. Experts from various domains will contribute to this holistic approach.
